Anastasia Shirinina was born in the bordering with China Russian city Vladivostok. During her bachelor studies at the FEFU and UMUC universities she had a strong academic interest in different aspects of Chinese economic development. This book is based on the Master thesis completed for CEU's MA in Economic Policy in Global Markets.
