The book describes the disease chlamydiosis in birds decorative, parrots, pigeons, canaries and other exotic birds. The cause of avian chlamydiosis is C.psittaci, which causes severe pathology in people, known as chlamydiosis or Psittacosis.It is vulnerable to pathogen, and spread in a wide range of different species, including man, animals, mammals and about 160 different species of birds, from those wild, migratory, appliances, pigeons, cage birds decorative etc., where over 25 % belong to the order psittacide.It does this by spreading infection endemic and high risk not only for the birds themselves,but also for human health. In poultry mortality calculated up to 30%. Chronologically described the progress of this pathology, its characteristics in different species of birds, the role of factors:age,race, weather conditions etc.on the frequency of the disease.Occupies an important place in clinical description of birds affected under changes to the micro and macroscopic damage and determining methods of diagnosis, through its techniques with serological testing kits.Also, being a zoonotic, paper defines and measures to be taken care to protect the health of animals and peoples.
