This book examines the factors that contribute to the
formation and activism of social movements. As a
comparative study of Christian social movement across
national/cultural contexts, this book compares the
mobilization of evangelical Christian groups in the
U.S. and Korea. Which forces shape the variations in
the vitality of evangelicals political activities in
the Unite States and Korea? The main factors that
resulted in different trajectories of political
activities among evangelicals in the two countries
are as follows: different structural conditions,
different leaders ideologies, and different types of
political parties. This book should be especially
