Christmas time in Fairytale Land

Advent in Fairytale land is an Advent calendar for reading and reading aloud, suitable for children aged 3 and over. The story shows that friendship helps to overcome even borders and walls in order to open a door. A group of friends (Cino, the rainbow dog, the red cat and many more) shorten the pre-Christmas period with winter activities such as ice skating, baking biscuits and putting on a play. Traditions such as the saints (St Nicholas & Barbara), Advent wreath making and writing wish lists to the "Christkind" also play a major role in this story.

Sissy Vogelsinger wurde in Wien geboren. Sie absolvierte in Feldkirch ein Pädagogikstudium. Kurze Zeit später übersiedelte sie mit ihrer Familie für einige Jahre nach Südafrika. Seit ihrer Rückkehr lebt Sissy Vogelsinger mit ihrem Mann in Niederösterreich. Neben ihrem Job studierte sie als Hobby Ur- und Frühgeschichte. Sie liebt Reisen und Märchen, und dies spiegelt sich in ihren Geschichten wider.
