Cities without people can evoke a profound sense of urban loneliness, a feeling of isolation and disconnection from the bustling energy that typically defines metropolitan areas. In many ways, cities without people represent a fundamental paradox of modern society: while we seek out the comforts and conveniences of urban living, we are also drawn to the solitude and quiet of the natural world.Perhaps this paradox itself is a reflection of our own human nature.
