Civil Engineering Project Management

Construction project managers, along with the project team, must carefully consider each process, its inputs, and outputs, and determine if any process is acceptable to the project in which they are working. Construction project management is an integrated commitment that requires all project processes to be well aligned with other processes in order to coordinate and facilitate the achievement of goals. The actions and decisions taken during the operation of a process usually affect the process itself as well as the related processes. For example, a change in project time frame affects costs but may not affect the communication management plan or risk level. Project area management includes the processes required to ensure that all required work, and only work required for successful completion of the project, is listed. Project area management is basically about defining and controlling what the project includes and what it does not.
