The book "Climate Change Adaptation Projects' Efficacy in Enhancing Livelihoods", analyses the merit of climate change adaptation projects in enhancing livelihoods of rural smallholder farming communities in arid and semi-arid agro-ecological regions of Chipinge South district in Zimbabwe. The introductory chapter of the book presents the background of the study, statement of the problem, study objectives, research questions and justification of the study. The book brings to the fore review of noteworthy literature where the definition of climate change, its global nature and challenges, its occurrences in Zimbabwe, its impacts on livelihoods, as well as key response strategies to the phenomenon are explored. An overview of the study area, the research design and methodology are also presented. An analysis and presentation of major findings of the study is also provided where community perspectives on climate change are discussed and the adaptation projects implemented critically examined their efficacy in enhancing livelihoods. Overarching conclusions of the study and key recommendations proposed are presented in the book's concluding sections.

A development practitioner, researcher and aspiring academia, Livers Mukwekwezeke graduated with a Masters Degree in Development Studies in 2013 at Midlands State University, Gweru, Zimbabwe.
