Climate change

According to recent World Bank studies, climate change could cause the displacement of 216 million people within their respective countries by 2050; and that climate change could reduce crop yields, generating food insecurity; the agricultural sector being considered as fundamental to address climate change. The COP28 climate summit in Dubai concluded with a historic agreement that marks a significant step forward in the fight against climate change. The agreement, reached after days of negotiations, calls on all nations to abandon fossil fuels, measures aimed at limiting temperature rise to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
