Pain in the lumbar region is a very common pathology in patients who come to the first level consultation, this type of pain is recurrent in patients with certain work activities, so Family Physicians should know the classification of pain, causes, characteristics and the ideal form of exploration, allowing an early diagnosis, assertive and timely management to avoid complications.
