Clinical photography for orthodontics : A systematic review and update

Photographs are an essential part of clinical documentation. In orthodontic treatment, we need to first and foremost start with full set of extra oral and intraoral photographs followed by mid- treatment and post treatment photographs after completion of the treatment. However photographs of pre and post treatment can be misleading if the image on one or both is distorted. Hence a proper standardisation of the equipment is required for producing a consistent set of records.
