coal miner's work in difficult environment under and awkward position for a long duration . miner's have to carry weight from peripheral to main stream on head or trolley which they have to push . WOMAC and step up and lateral step up, Q angle , working in awkward posture can expose put them in high risk of early degeneration . Monotonous activity of quadriceps muscles lead to low requirement of motor unit of quadriceps that resulted in poor strength of quadriceps, therefore Q angle was increased. Continues kneeling compress the meniscus in between articulating surface of knee joint hence causes damage to the cartilage of knee joint.
