Coenzyme Q (ubiquinone or Q) is a fully substituted benzoquinone that plays an important role in the mitochondrial respiratory chain and in the cell's antioxidant defenses. The molecular mechanisms of CoQ in Health and Disease has been wildly studied by scientists because of its bioenergetics, vitamin-like behavior, and interactions with antioxidant vitamins E and C. This book will be of extreme interest to biochemists, organic chemist, molecular and cell biologists, as well as nutritionists and biomedical health workers. Autorentext
Xiao Hu received her Master's degree in May 2004, and Ph.D degree in May 2011. She majored in Electrical Engineering in the University of Texas at Arlington. Prior to the master program, she worked for China Mobile in Chengdu China during 1997-2002. Her interest is about the Control System Design and Adaptive Systems.
