Johann Wolfgang von Goethe Culture is the collective memory of humankind. It exists through the words flowing from languages, the traditions shaped across generations, the motifs carved into stones, and the melodies echoing in hearts. This book was written not only to trace the marks of the past but also to grasp the meaning of the present and build a consciousness for the future. Each society has its own rhythms, symbols, and narratives. Yet, culture is not merely the sum of differences; it is also the expression of a shared human experience.

Emel AKSOY is an Associate Professor at Akdeniz University, Faculty of Communication, in Antalya, Turkey. She holds a PhD degree in Journalism and teaches gender and media, popular culture, social psychology, and behavioral sciences in undergraduate and graduate courses.
