Collagen Orientation in Oral Submucous Fibrosis

The book gives an insight to clinical features and evaluates the collagen fiber orientation in relation to the epithelium histologically in oral submucous fibrosis patients. The book also attempts to give a possible explanation for the unidirectional allignment of collagen fibers in oral submucous fibrosis cases by relating to single direction allignmnet of fibers which occurs during wound healing. It gives further scope for the experimental studies on fibroblasts to be done.
