In a descriptive, retrospective, cross-sectional study conducted at Kabongo General Hospital in the city of Kabongo, 130 women with genitourinary fistulas following childbirth were surveyed to determine the frequency and description of sociodemographic factors and causal events in the occurrence of obstetric vesico-vaginal fistula in the city of Kabongo in Katanga. Another section of this book deals with the lack of Congolese data on the specific epidemiology of HIV infection in health zones. The aim of this section was to describe the sociodemographic aspects of patients with HIV/AIDS in Kabongo General Hospital, Katanga, Democratic Republic of Congo.
