Collective Bargaining on State Corporation's Performance in Kenya

In the heat of liberalization and globalization, many State Corporations have had difficulties competing in their respective industries, a problem compounded by volatility of the work force and agitation for better terms by the employees or Trade Unions. Collective bargaining Agreements (CBA) are integral for any organizational growth and a country's economic development. Industrial unrests have been known to create disturbances at the work place and sometimes affect the entire operations thereby suppressing or stopping productivity. This book is helpful in hastening agreements and settlements between employers and employees and to a greater extend, the government. Collective Bargaining Agreements should be used to improve productivity and increase organizational performance and not to bring acrimony in industrial relations.
