Collective Mourning

We only suffer from the loss of something we wouldn't want to lose, in other words, there is only mourning where a bond has been broken. Losing an entire team abruptly and suddenly shows us how vulnerable and fragile human beings are. The feeling of a fan for their team is intense, strong, indescribable. To think of the possibility of an air crash involving an entire team, with its official delegation, unfortunately means facing a painful reality that generates suffering, especially when collective deaths occur. Fatalities of this proportion give rise to feelings of extreme pain, shock, despair, helplessness and fear. I invite you, the reader, to read the powerful and expressive accounts that I have witnessed from fans who have lost their favorite team, on the verge of winning their greatest title. I end this research with one certainty: in this tragedy there were more than six survivors, because anyone who loses an entire team, tragically and suddenly, survives! They turn mourning into a struggle every day, in order to move on.
