It emphasized much on colonial policies, laws as related to sociopolitical of British laws and indigenous laws of the society in Ejigbo. Also, the author through the archives was able to highlight on most of the cases that were judiciously administered from 1922 - 1960. In conclusion, the book will be useful to the present day scholars.

Iyanda Kamoru Ahmed hails from Ejigbo in Osun state.He had his formal education at Baptist High school,Ejigbo,and his first degree at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, affiliated to Obafemi Awolowo University.He completed his master degree with Federal government scholarship at Bayero University and also obtained his doctorate there.
