This book focuses on democracy in Nigeria since 1960, when Nigeria got her Independence. As a matter of fact it has been a struggle for Democracy to survive in Nigeria because of military juntas. Military intervention is not new to Nigerians from the period of Aguiyi Ironsi to Abubakar Abdulsalam when he handed over to Democracy in Nigeria in 1999.
