Commedia dell'Arte in the backlands of Bahia

This book emerged from an action research project carried out with young people from the Poço Longe Agrarian Reform Settlement. The research investigated aspects of experimentation with elements of Commedia dell'Arte with the young people from the settlement, and the following elements were chosen to guide the investigation: the body construction of the genre's types, the making of masks and the drafting of a script. The experiment aimed to explain the appropriation and transformations made by the participants based on their cultural identifications with the masks they worked on.

Lehrerin des Studiengangs Field Education mit Hauptfach Kunst und Musik an der Bundesuniversität von Tocantins. Sie hat einen Abschluss in Theaterwissenschaften von der UFBA und einen Master von PPGAC/UFBA. Sie ist Mitbegründerin der Theatergruppe Roda Moinho. Seit 2010 ist sie an verschiedenen kulturellen Aktivitäten in der Agrarreformsiedlung Poço Longe in Ruy Barbosa/BA beteiligt.
