Communism in power

The following paper, entitled 'Communism in Power: A Comparative Analysis of Ideals and Reality in Hungary and Yugoslavia,' examines the extent to which communism manifested itself in the two socialist countries after 1945 and what measures it implemented. In addition to describing the different political developments in Hungary and Yugoslavia, it is particularly important to outline the claims of communism with its ideals and principles and then compare them with their actual implementation and everyday application.

Claudia Lugitsch-Strasser, born on 21 June 1988 in Hartberg, studied German and history at the University of Education in Graz. She has been teaching at the Neue Musikmittelschule Gerlitz in Hartberg since 2015.
