Community-based management of diarrhea by mothers

Our prospective descriptive study on the management of diarrhea by mothers of children under 5 years of age in the village of Zaguinasso/Kouto revealed that mothers have a good knowledge of diarrhea, especially of the signs of severity of this condition, and that they generally have good habits for managing diarrhea. Nevertheless, given the seriousness and frequency of diarrhea among our children in our regions, we must find effective strategies to reduce the incidence of this condition.

Herr KOUAKOU YAO JULES, geboren am 01.01.1976 in Anoumabo im Zentrum der Elfenbeinküste. Er ist verheiratet und hat fünf Kinder. Er hat einen Forschungsmaster in Community Health an der UAO in Bouaké (2014-2017). Seit 1999 war er IDE in der katholischen Krankenstation DON ORIONE in Anyama (1999-2001).
