community empowerment and sustainable tourism development have become the debating issues of the contemporary world. These motivated the author to take the initiatives of conducting the research which can be applicable in other parts of the world too in general and Ethiopia in particular. Therefore, this work can be vector to ascertain the issue of sustainable tourism development agendas in Ethiopia and other parts, especially for host communities in and around Zege Peninsula, Bahir Dar, Ethiopia.

To introduce myself, my name is Alubel Workie Eyassu graduated with BA degree in Tourism Management in University of Gondar, in 2007 and MA in Tourism and Development in Addis Ababa University in 2011, Ethiopia.I have been employed in University of Gondar since 2007 as instructor at Department of Tourism Management, University of Gondar, Ethiopia.
