The book is an attempt to understand the productivity issues in a knitwear industry. It tries to identify the factors affecting the productivity in knitwear industry of Ludhiana which is a major knitwear cluster in India. The book tries to assess the current productivity levels and also identify the impediments in production efficiency in order to improve cost efficiency of this industry. It also attempts to suggest improvement measures for enhancing the productivity in knitwear industry.

Worked extensively with export houses and Buying agencies at various places across the country. Worked as a consultant with DFID sponsored project on Cluster Development, Did PhD at Punjab Agricultural University.
