Comparative Evaluation of Cervical Vertebrae with Hand Wrist Radio Graphs

This is an original work done by myself to evaluate the skeletal maturation in 10-12 year old children by comparing the cervical vertebrae with hand wrist radiographs. The main purpose for this study was that for growth evaluation an additional radiographic exposure is given to adolescents by taking a hand wrist radiograph but cervical vertebrae are seen in lateral cephalograms which is an essential diagnostic aid taken in all orthodontic patients so why to go for an additional radiographic exposure if we can evaluate growth using cervical vertebrae.
