The modern dentistry has focused on preventive approaches and conservative methods to apply less-invasive techniques to the dental structure. Pit and fissure caries occur mostly on the occlusal, buccal surfaces and palatal grooves of posterior teeth. The anatomical depth and morphological shape for the pits and fissures enhance the caries possibility due to increase the ability to enable the plaque accumulation so there are new materials are used to seal these grooves to avoid food stagnation with high bonding and sealing abilities in addition to recent methods for application these materials. Teeth cleaning procedure should be done before material application to achieve optimum results, teeth cleaning include rubber cup with pumice and air polisher system.
