COMPETENCIES AND LEADERSHIP

Nowadays in our contemporary society it has become fashionable to talk about leadership, to be a leader, a team leader, etc. It has become such a common topic. It has become such a common topic that there are a significant number of people who are specifically dedicated to this, to talking about leadership. We have topics such as leadership in marketing, in telemarketing, in communication, and in many other areas. Wouldn't it be logical, then, to also have examples of medical leadership? Throughout my medical career and postgraduate training, I was never given seminars on these topics. And my contemporaries would agree.
