Composing Writing in a Second Language

Composing writing goes beyond mere textual/graphic representation of speech or thoughts. It includes the generation of relevant ideas and the meaningful synthesis and textual representation of such ideas. Composing writing becomes even more difficult and challenging for the English as a Second Language (ESL) learner/writer. This book offers much insight into the nature and problems of composing writing in a second language situation as found in Nigeria.

Dr Justina Anyadiegwu has taught the English Language at all levels of education in Nigeria since 1993. She has co-authored books and has written several book chapters and journal articles.
