Composite Materials

Composite materials which can be defined as a combination of two or more distinct materials, are becoming the most important materials in industries because its advantages such as low weight, corrosion resistance, high fatigue strength, faster assembly, etc. Each of which retains its own distinctive properties, to create a new material with properties that cannot be achieved by any of the components acting alone. Using this definition, it can be determined that a wide range of engineering materials fall into this category. Composites are used as materials ranging from making aircraft structures to golf clubs, electronic packaging to medical equipment, and space vehicles to home building. Therefore the present book is aims to give a several theoretical and experimental papers which study the properties of composite materials and rubbers which can be used as a reference in industry of composites.
