The use of oil determines the level of economic development and life of modern man. At the same time, it should be noted that at all stages of oil use, from oil extraction to its waste disposal, there is pollution of the environment. And the greater the amount of work performed, the greater their negative impact on the environment. The authors considered methods of utilization and treatment of wastewater from emulsified petroleum products. Various materials for creating composite adsorbents with magnetic properties have been studied. A method of utilization of waste water containing emulsified oil products and waste lubricating and cooling fluids using a magnetic field has been presented.
