COMPOSITION, RICHNESS AND FOREST PRODUCTIVITY OF A TROPICAL FOREST

By means of a previous study of the municipality of the canton of San Pablo, it was determined, by means of the method of Gentry (1982) the amount of forest mass that integrates a part of this municipality, since this, in a technique that determines us with greater precision the amount of timber and non-timber species that integrate this type of forest. In this respect, the vertical and horizontal structure of the analyzed forest will be known, and the respective conclusions will be designed for each index, and the species that for some reason predominate in the examined area will be shown.
