Computer Network Design - A Mathematical Programming Approach

The design of computer networks by and large contains various facets, the ultimate goal of which is driven by performance improvement. The present work has been carried out in this direction, optimizing a number of related problems like reliability measurement and enhancement, traffic flow optimization, network enhancement, topology design and development of path-based routing techniques. The main focus of the book is to model network design problems and to find their solutions using single/multi- objective mathematical techniques.

Mou Dasgupta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Application, National Institute of Technology Raipur, India. She has obtained Master's degree in Computer Application (2007) from West Bengal University of Technology and Ph.D. in Computer Science (2012) from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad respectively.
