COMPUTER VIROLOGY

Today, computer viruses, due to the great expansion of computers, affect an impressive number of people. A virus thus has a very large number of potential targets. Moreover, with the expansion of the Internet, the propagation of viruses is easier and faster. It is not uncommon today to see a virus sweep across the globe via the network of networks in a matter of days, or even hours. Throughout this book, we have studied one of the major issues in computer security: malware. We have found that there are several types of computer malware, whose origins date back to different eras and coincide with the major phases of computing. As it is the multiplication of worms with the advent of the Internet general public. The objective of this book is to answer all this problematic to the definition of a virus, the typology of viruses, their mode of propagation, how to avoid the viruses, how to protect themselves, how to remove them, etc.This book aims to present in a concise and clear way the basic concepts of computer virology.
