In the present international scenario, Human Rights has become a potential and focal instrument in promoting human relations and minimizing the hurdles thereto, at the national and international level. This book presents a broad analysis and review of human rights process, institutions, history of growth, sources, role of world movements and revolutions and concept of human rights in West and Islam. The issue of widely conflicting views on certain human rights between West and Islam such as punishments for crimes of theft, murder, adultery, calumnious accusation of adultery and women's rights, inequality between man and woman in laws of inheritance and testimony, polygamy, use of veil, one side character of divorce, freedom of expression and freedom of religion has been comparatively discussed under both system. The statistics and data for each above crime and issue in the countries operating under western and Islamic system are mentioned, to indicate the efficacy of system.

He has served for more than 30 years in Executive position in Industries, Commerce, Administration, Education and Law departments, Govt. of Pakistan.
