Concepts and Issues in Educational Management

The role of Educational Management in meeting the challenges of the 21st century Nigeria and World-Over cannot be over-emphasized. Anticipatingly, the much needed revolution in education is vested in efficient and effective educational management. This is one of the reasons which prompted the writer to put up a text of this nature and magnitude. The eight chapter text book has an introduction to the study of educational management with emphasis on historical background, planning as a concept, management related concepts, school management and personnel administration are fully discussed. In all, the function of modern day, Educational Management shall not be complete in the absence of funds, materials and human resources. Therefore, students, in all higher institutions, practicing teachers, heads of primary and secondary schools and other stakeholders in education are the targets of the Author. The book will definitely be of good companion to all and Sundry in the field of education.
