Conflict Management at Work Place

Though conflict at work place is inevitable, yet it has become a clog in the wheel of progress of some organizations across the globe. This trend has been traced to the conflict-handling behaviour (CHB) of the two social actors (employers & employees) in industrial relations system; hence some behaviour modification skills are recommended in this book to enhance the CHB of the two social actors and consequently bring about sustainable industrial peace in organizations.

Bankole Akanji is an associate professor and the incumbent head of department of Industrial Relations and Personnel Management in Lagos State University Ojo, Nigeria. He obtained his B.Sc and M.Sc from University of Lagos and got his Ph.D in Industrial Relations from University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He has publications in many international journals.
