Congolese man and climate-soil-vegetation interactions

This book presents first of all the Congolese man in his daily life through some of his activities. For the Congolese man in this book can be a Turumbu farmer in the village of Yambaw in the Province of Tshopo, a trader in Kasumbalesa in Haut-Katanga, a taximoto driver in Goma in North Kivu, a herder in the Ruzizi plain in South Kivu, a fisherman in Inongo in Mai-Ndombe Province, a decision-maker in the city of Kinshasa Province, a university professor in Kindu in Maniema, a logger in Gemena, a diamond digger in Lualaba, a student in Kalemie, etc. The book then shows the possibilities available to Congolese people to develop their country by harmoniously integrating their activities into the climate-soil-vegetation synergy. It underlines the importance of knowledge on climate, soil and vegetation by proposing to relaunch the climato-pedo-botanical missions so that the Congolese man RD manages the immense natural resources of which his country is rich.
