Conservation of Natural Resources for Recreational Use

In the rapid pace of development, developing countries like Pakistan are facing tremendous land-use conflicts. Since Pakistan is already facing scarcity of natural resources, particularly forests being less than 5% of the total area of the country, with climate change scenario, there is crucial need to conserve forest and other natural resources. Studies of socioeconomic benefits and recreational value, highlighting the other important aspects of these resources may proceed the planning and management towards the goal of sustainable development.
