Constitutional Changes and Politics in Bangladesh

Constitution is the embodiment of the hopes and aspirations of the people of a country as a whole. Dynamism is the feature of a good constitution. Founder father of Bangladesh adopted West-Ministerial style democratic constitution in 1972. Thereafter ruling elite brought several changes to the constitution in the name of stipulating the changing voice of the people. But all these changes excepting one or two are made to consolidate the power of government. This book has incorporated the real causes of such changes and minutely depicted political and socio-economic environment of the time.
