Constraints facing publishers with legal deposit in KwaZulu-Natal

This work seeks to provide more insight on the following practices of legal deposit: - Challenges faced by publishers with legal deposit, - Ways and means of applying for exemption, - Recommend compensation to the publishers on at least recovering initial printing costs, - Law enforcement of the practice to non complying publishers, - Reinvent the practices such that it becomes a general accepted principle amongst role players, - Recommend that further studies be undertaken to explore other challenges in some parts of the Country, - Reveal the need to re look at the subject of legal deposit in terms of the role of government in preservation and collection of material.
