Content management and protection using Trusted Computing and MPEG-21

Content is created by all parts of the society such as industry, organizationsor users. Content management systems are widely used for the collaborative creation,description, exchange and protection of digital content. This bookpresents several improvements in content management systems using theMPEG-21 standards and the Trusted Computing technology. The book canbe divided in three parts: metadata concepts for content sharing, protection mechanisms based on Trusted Computing and the implementation of the concepts.

Florian Schreiner received his PhD degree in electrical engineering and information technology from the Technische Universität München, Munich, Germany, where has been an active in the MPEG-21 and MPEG-A standardization process. His research interests involve the delivery and management of content based on Trusted Computing.
