Contigency

Complexity means being forced to select; being forced to select means contingency; and contingency means risk. Selection of relations among elements which it uses to constitute and maintain itself are as consciousness as system. Other relations could be possible but the choice means to determine with selection to the possible improved way out, regarding calculations. Contingency means also being possible otherwise, other ways. It alludes also to the possibility of failing to achieve the best possible reformation. Decline may happen in system level or individual level. The fall of ego can be as melancholia, narcissism and other moods of despair. All this is nothing else than the crisis of ego from the reduction of its environment. The reduction of ego's environment does not mean that better investment of value are in social move. Simply one cannot go too far without other's deplacement for the total sense reposition where the ego takes place. Sence is a work of human in account of God!

Author won the golden trophy of San Remo Poetry Festival(1998) organized by RAI, Italy, with her poem "Il nulla integrale".
