CONTRIBUTION OF LOCAL NGOs TO THE INTEGRAL REINTEGRATION OF RSEs

The issue of street children is common to all peoples of the world, and to all civilizations. As a developing country, Burundi occupies a significant place among African countries with a high rate of these children, especially in large cities in recent years. The causes can no longer be proven with any accuracy, due to the lack of relevant documents. In our country, a number of actors are being rewarded in a bizarre way by claiming to have a crucial mission in the protection and promotion of children's rights in general, and street children in particular. What are the economic constraints that lead children to take to the streets as a refuge? What strategies does JSBM use to help reintegrate street children into their families?back into their families and schools? These are the key questions addressed in this book.

Oswald NDACAYISABA is a Burundian Socio-Anthropologist (Master), Clinical and Social Psychologist (Baccalaureate), Philosopher (Baccalaureate) and EMDR approach practitioner as well as a consultant in holistic psychosocial care. He was a Xaverian Catholic missionary for 6 years in Burundi, DRC and Cameroon.
