Contributions to Geography Teaching in the Early Years

This paper aims to cover the importance of the science of geography in the early years. In order to achieve our goal, we looked for ways to prove our thesis, including the tool used by teachers in their daily education, i.e. the textbook. We also analysed the real role of the teacher as a guide, educator, knowledge builder for these students, what contribution they can make and how to make it in the early years. And as a way of presenting ideas in a practical way, we also analysed activities to be proposed to these students and one of the countless possibilities for working on them. As such, this work brings with it the thesis of Geography as a science for the formation of critical thinkers, based on the early years.
