This book is an attempt to give solution by using adaptive control for changing regimes and act as both passive and active controller. Different case studies for passive, active and adaptive control have been highlighted in this manuscript. Passive or active control of a flow field to cause a demanded shift is of enormous industrial significance and this explains why the flow control is such a passion among the researchers. This technological advancement not only reduces drag for vehicles overland, sea and air but also saves fuel consumption, thus contributing to the low-cost green industrial process.
