Controlled Burning in a Eucalyptus urograndis area

This book is the result of the author's master's dissertation on the use of fire in forest plantations. The author reviews the main published works on fire behavior, combustible material, controlled burning and meteorological variables. In the first chapter, the author takes a comprehensive look at fire behavior during controlled burning practices in a Eucalyptus urograndis plantation area. In the second chapter, the author uses the results obtained in practice and simulates them using BehavePlus and EFSS software. Thus, the reader will have material at hand that will make reading easier, as the subject is approached in a comprehensive and intelligent way in an attempt to explain the behavior of fire.
