Conventional and laparoscopic cholecystectomy

A descriptive field research was carried out with the objective of determining the factors related to the research, techniques and surgical approaches of conventional and laparoscopic cholecystectomy by the specialists of the general surgery service of the Ana Francisca Pérez de León II Hospital of Petare, Miranda state; the population consisted of 10 specialists of the general surgery service, the sample constituted 50% of the specialists. As a data collection technique, a 12-question questionnaire was given to the specialists of the general surgery service. The population, based on the research results, showed that professionals of the area execute the techniques and approaches to achieve a better contribution in medical updates.
