Cooperative Societies, Women Empowerment and Environment Rehabilitation
Details
Though cooperative societies have played fundamental roles on bringing health and sustainable development in developing countries, there are (no) very limited international cooperative textbooks. The limited existing books are focused some on the principles and values of cooperatives, and others on the different theories of cooperative societies. But textbooks on the empirical evidences of cooperatives from the grassroots are almost non-existence. In this response, this cooperative book is written to offer a number of new perspectives that addresses the shortcoming of the available books. It comprises the principles and values, conceptual theories and practical case studies of cooperative institutions together. It thus endeavors to satisfy the needs of undergraduate and postgraduate cooperatives courses as well as cooperative organizations and decision makers on cooperative institutions.
