This Monograph is the outcome of a Research Project undertaken by the author at National Institute of Bank Management, Pune, India. The author in this monograph has tried to incorporate various issues of corporate bond market, focusing in India. Even if the financial system in India is very strong, as reflected through its efficient, developed and vibrant financial market, the corporate bond market segment is still at a very nascent stage, and therefore requires a serious concern from different group of market players.
