Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a buzz word and fast growing feature in the corporate world today and has become a strategy for business sustainbility.Through HRD interventions of employees in extension of CSR of a company is also on rise. This provides employees an opportunity to contribute to business success,and enhances employee satisfaction and performance.Present research is a maiden effort to examine the initiatives taken by the NALCO,for the social stakeholders at large without compromising their profit and efficiency.On the other hand,the book gives youglimpeses of NALCO CSR activity in Odisha to know how it has grown up with a positive image in the eye of local people. The social and environmental initiatives have been widely acknowledged globally.Through such efforts thousands of people are benefitted locally and nationally.
